ReachMee TalenTech Connector
Limitations in ReachMee
There are some known limitations in ReachMee that users should be aware of.
Candidate Sync
ReachMee's API does not support external parties to update candidate profiles. This means that once an application has been submitted, it's stale.
When using Adway's Social Apply feature, you need to pay attention to your Sync Settings. If you e.g. require that candidates answer all of your screening questions as a part of the application process, then you must make sure that this is defined as a criteria for syncing candidates from Adway to ReachMee.
If you fail to do so, the candidate will end up in a Catch 22 where their application is incomplete but has no possibility to complete it.
Available URLs in the XML Feed
The XML feed used in the default integration between Adway and ReachMee features two URLs:
1. An URL leading to the job description in ReachMee.
2. An URL leading to the job's application form in ReachMee.
This will effectively let you decide where you want candidates to end up after they interact with your ads.
However, in some situations both URLs will look something like this:
?rmpage=job&rmjob=471
If this is the case, you'll get a warning in Adway when you try to set up the Connector. The URL above is incomplete and cannot be used.
If you see this warning, or notice that your URLs are incomplete, reach out to [email protected] and ask them to update your XML feed with the full URLs. Make sure to include your organisation's name and/or the link to the feed in your request so that it's easier for their to help you.
